This also included Teams as well, and subscribing is very affordable. And I believe that’s just for £79.99 in UK. If someone in your family is a student, then you could shave off 50%. I got that half-price discount along with massive storage space of 1TB/user x 6 = 6TB. Google and Zoom both become too expensive.

The Teams version on the Family plan is a lightweight one though and doesn’t allow for recordings or transcriptions, but it’s good for 1-1 meetings if you don’t need that record feature.

I confirm that many founders with whom I speak regularly have given 100% to AppSumo, the luckiest 80%. For AppSumo they and we buyers, are cannon fodder.

It’s all about greed. It’s that $1B target for the chief. He is mentally sick after being fired by Mr. Zuck. When the margins are 100%, it doubles the cost for buyers. AppSumo gets all the benefits without creating a product, and the only risk is their one-year PPP (if they even plan on giving refunds) with no liability. The Creator gets the rest of the money after 60 days, and they have to keep the tool alive, keep adding features, and serve customers forever as promised.

They refunded Storipress in just minutes. I’m not sure if they have different approach or are highly selective for Sessions refund. I have been highly skeptical about refunds of Sessions, and here’s why: Sessions perhaps had around 35,000 customers (or licenses sold). Assume that majority of them were LTD buyers at an average of $197 (as they seemed to have claimed between the $49 to $699 tiers), this means that over 30K customers/licenses were LTD, which they would have to refund. However, still being very conservative, if we take $2M sales, it adds up to over 10K customers. Of course, AppSumo won’t be paying from their pockets (to my knowledge, they haven’t paid more than $5K in total for any tool loss from their pockets), so which means they would have collected money from Radu by whatever means (which is perhaps why they had given a future date of 11th Oct when they announced on 30th Sept). I’m not sure how much Radu would have paid back to AppSumo, and maybe that’s why AppSumo is perhaps “managing” refunds by “selectively choosing” whom to refund. Again, this is my assumption, and I can be wrong, but that’s how I see the ground reality.

Yeah i had reached out directly, but the way the sauce msg was phrased on Sept 30th it sounded like they would be the one to followup up from sauce moderator. I made contact because i saw msg that story press oct 18th refund by msg that you must reach out yesterday on sauce they officially stated that we must contact them for sessions to get it because if still have faith you could keep it which would be nice but all bets are off. I won't rely on their communication. I think they just don't want the backlash since they were boasting/promoting the campaign more than any tool. For example they sent email to session buyers. Did anyone get an email for storipress purchased after PPP in place? Later, i revisited the PPP and in bold under TLDR: In order to receive these credits, customers must write into our Support team at [support@appsumo.com](mailto:support@appsumo.com) In future.. i did make handful of purchases last 15 months, i need to pay attention to those directly as i won't have sauce access to monitor the tool updates section.

i see that comment, but i just grabbed the sample in the Sumo deal and recorded it using OBS and output to mp4 format. uploaded to resound and i then used Enhanced Feature..it sounds exactly like the Resound Sumo recording before and after. the demo which sounds like a police report output was identically enhanced, actually a bit better even. sounded great to me so im curious what was lost/changed i guess i will need to read the policy update because it updated again in August from their site [https://youtu.be/gD9xsJV2IhU](oembed:https://youtu.be/gD9xsJV2IhU)

NOPE plus they said I am free to use the PodCast any way I want. If you wanted you could build an entire channel just on building a MyMemo database, provided you stick to just one new topic for searching each day. I’m still wrapping my head around IKI.AI as that is similar yet quite different. With IKI.AI there is total access to the net yet you have to craft off IKI if you want free format input, MyMemo is more like EverNote but better however the AI works only on the data you provide (Yes it is from the internet also but you have to point it in that direction).

Oh. Added Noota to the WoS list. I believe many had bought Noota especially for that purpose and that’s another disappointing one.
